About each bushcamp

Each of the three Its Wild! bushcamps are located in game management areas outside Luangwas national parks. Their locations were carefully selected by the local community to provide the true wildness visitors seek, far from the noise and digital world of the city where it is possible melt into the African bush and feel its special magic. Wildlife numbers cannot compare with the high concentrations found in the park, but game viewing is always within walking distance of the bushcamps where one can expect to see most of the wildlife species Luangwa Valley offers. Elephants, hippo and buffalo are never far away and armed escort scouts accompanied by a local guide provide security for your walks. Safari hunting is an activity practiced in all of Luangwa Valleys game management areas and provides another important source of income to local communities. Its Wild! bushcamps are situated in these hunting areas. Both safari operators and bushcamp staff cooperate to ensure these two activities coexist for the safety of bushcamp visitors and the total benefit of promoting conservation and income support to the local community.
