How you can help

COMACO has partnered with Elephant Cooperation, a US-based 501(c)3 charitable organization, to further each otherʼs missions. COMACO reduces encroachment and illegal logging practices that impact elephant habitats and also reduce the need for poaching by increasing farmer income and food security. It does this by using market incentives to encourage the adoption of high-yielding sustainable agricultural practices and to abandon those practices harmful to wildlife. Elephant Cooperation takes a holistic approach to conservation, knowing that to save the African elephant, the community also must benefit.

All donations from outside Zambia can be made through Elephant Cooperation. U.S.-based donations are tax-deductible, and 100% of funds earmarked for COMACO are transferred directly to us.
